How do I qualify?

All you need to qualify for Membership with Rebel Payments is to be a business owner with a business processing at least $10,000 per month in credit card payments. Your business must be located in the United States and you must have a business bank account.

What is PCI?

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is an information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes. The PCI Standard is mandated by the card brands but administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.

Is there a cancelation fee?

Yes, our Merchant Account cancellation fee is $595.00

How long is the contract for?

Our Memberships are 48 months long. We would love to extend them for our Members but unfortunately this is the longest length of term we can guarantee our pricing for as the industry is constantly changing and any longer term than 48 Months would not be feasible for us.

Do you ever invest in your clients?

Not through capital contributions however The Rebelution model reinvests the fees businesses are paying today back into their marketing. In that sense we do invest in the growth of our merchants. 

Are there custom plans?

Yes. your business may qualify for custom discounting we will simply need you to submit a copy of your monthly merchant (processing) statement so that our team can do a review of your card types and sales volumes.

Can I use my own terminal?

In many cases yes. If you love what you have we have great news, our Processor Exchange program allows you to keep that equipment and we’ll reprogram it for you. We currently work with over 90% of the hardware in the marketplace.

What is interchange?

Interchange fee is a term used in the payment card industry to describe a fee paid between banks for the acceptance of card-based transactions. This fee is different for each card type and can vary based on business type as well. Our team of experts can help ensure your business has the correct pricing to protect you from overpaying.

Can I upgrade my POS system?

Yes. We have multiple hardware options ranging from a simple payment terminal all the way to an Enterprise level full size Point Of Sale System. Call us today and let one of our experts help you find the perfect program for your business.

How long does it take to receive my funds?

The very next day. We set our hardware to “auto-batch” daily before the cutoff so that you can receive a deposit the next day for all the transactions you’ve processed before cutoff. You’ll receive your weekend transactions on Mondays.

What determines my rates?

There is a bevy of factors that determine processing rates ranging from your sales volume and number of transactions to the types of cards you’re accepting every day. There’s no need to stress our experts do this every day and we can do a completely free evaluation of your processing and show where your rates could be lowered.

Does my POS system take gift cards?

Yes. If you would like to sell gift cards make sure to let your Payments Consultant know when you’re filling out your Membership application so we can include that in your quote.

What POS systems do you integrate with?

We currently integrate with about 90% of the hardware in the market. Your Payments Consultant will work with you to ensure a smoth transition.  

How fast is the sign-up process?

What happens if my POS system gets damaged or broken?

One of the great benefits of your Membership with us is that we will replace your equipment and quickly as we possibly can so that your business experiences the least amount of downtime possible.
